How to Register:
Registration must be completed at the Park District office or by phone-in. A parent handbook will be given out before the program start date. Included in the handbook is an Emergency Release Form. This form must be completed and turned in on the first day of BASC.
How to Pay:
Tuition is based on the total number of days school is actually in session per year. Fees are divided into 9 equal payments for the school year and will not be lower for those months that have fewer attendance days due to holidays (i.e. winter and spring break)
A $15 non-district fee will be charged at the time of registration when applicable.

Preschool Mission Statement:
Hanover Park Park District is dedicated to preparing little sprouts for Kindergarten with care and creativity! We offer a secure and nurturing environment where young learners can grow and thrive. Our programs focus on essential skills like motor development, independence-building, and listening comprehension. Totally 2s & 3s Information:
Parents may stay on the first day of class to help ease their child into separation. This is not a parent/tot program and parents will be asked to stop attending after the first class.
Pull-ups are acceptable, but our teachers are not able to change any child. Children should be in the process of learning how to be toilet-independent while attending this program. Parents must be available to return to the program to change their child’s pull-up or in case of a bathroom accident.
Pre-kindergarten
Get your little sprout ready for kindergarten with our heartwarming program! Our curriculum introduces young learners to colors, sizes, shapes, numbers, and reading readiness. They’ll also pick up valuable skills like following directions and understanding time, all while blossoming socially and emotionally. Our caring teachers will guide your child through the alphabet, addresses, phone numbers, and even writing their names. This nurturing program is designed for those who will start kindergarten in the fall of 2025, and we’ll celebrate their growth with a special graduation on May 22nd, 2025. Parents are invited to join in the fun by helping out 1-2 times a month. Please note that if enrollment is low, we may need to combine Pre-K classes. Keep an eye out for any changes due to CDC guidelines.

Winter Athletics
We invite all soccer enthusiasts to join us in this exciting league, designed to promote team training and individual skill development. Futsal, a variant of indoor soccer, offers a fast-paced and dynamic playing experience, emphasizing close ball control, quick decision-making, and precise passing. Our league provides an excellent opportunity for players of all skill levels and grades to enhance their soccer abilities and elevate their game to new heights.
One of the standout advantages of the Futsal Indoor Soccer League is the opportunity for different teams to train together. By participating in shared training sessions, players gain valuable experience working with teammates from various backgrounds and skill sets. This collaborative training environment fosters teamwork, enhances communication, and builds on-field chemistry. The ability to adapt and synchronize with different players improves overall game awareness and enhances players’ ability to contribute effectively to competitive scenarios. The location will be at the Hanover Park community gym.
Each team will have 12 players. Teams will be picked on January 4th.

This baseball class gives players an introduction to baseball. Players work on technique and enhancing form in this comprehensive skills clinic. This program teaches throwing mechanics as well as batting stance, bat positioning, and speed, using both live pitching and hitting off the tee. Players learn various positions in the field through gameplay and basic in-game strategy. Winter Inter-Village Basketball Leagues
Hanover Park Park District has joined a Winter Basketball Inter-Village League with other park districts such as teams from Roselle, Carol Stream, Hoffman, Bloomingdale, and many more park districts. Teams will be put into divisions and play against other park districts throughout the season in this fun and recreational basketball league. Come join Hanover Park and compete for your town against our neighbors!
Players will receive instructions from volunteer coaches in dribbling, passing, and shooting, as well as learning the importance of teamwork and good sportsmanship. The volunteer coach determines practice times. Leagues will compete on Saturdays at the other park district's gym. Each player will receive a jersey and shorts.
Players should arrive 15 minutes before for check-in.

Volunteer Basketball Coaches
Our athletic leagues are highly reliant on volunteer coaches. All necessary equipment and training resources are provided, ensuring that our volunteer coaches are prepared to coach, and have a fun and rewarding experience.
To show our appreciation for your commitment, all volunteer coaches receive a sweater or polo, a team picture plaque, and FREE registration

Misc Comments:
Please note: All Saturday games will be away and not at home this season. Each coach will create a band app to communicate with the player’s parents. This season we will be doing a popcorn Fundraiser, to help purchase new equipment, and trophies also help pay for the kid’s basketball ceremony at the end of the season. All profits go back to the players.
Uniform: If you are a returning player from last year and have a black and white Jersey, the registration price is $125.00. For a new player that needs to purchase a Jersey, the registration price is $140.00

Youth/Adult Karate
ISKC’s karate classes offer a good mix of strength training, with cardiovascular and flexibility exercises. Court Reservations & Cancellations
Members may reserve court time up to seven days in advance. Cancellation of court time must be made at least 24 hours in advance of play. Members are responsible for court fees if for any reason they wish to cancel in less than 24 hours and the court cannot be sold. Members who make reservations and fail to show up are responsible for the cost of the court and are charged accordingly.

Lounge and Snack Bar
The central core of the club includes a lounge area complete with a big screen TV where members and guests may relax after a hard workout.
Monthly Play Pass
If playing a lot of tennis is high on your priority list you can’t go wrong by purchasing a Play Pass. Reservations may be made up to 48 hours in advance, initially for one-and-a-half hours of tennis. If the court is available at the end of that time, just keep playing until you drop!
