Hanover Park Park District Before and After School Club

How to Register:

Registration must be completed at the Park District office or by phone-in. A parent handbook will be given out before the program start date. Included in the handbook is an Emergency Release Form. This form must be completed and turned in on the first day of BASC.

How to Pay:

Tuition is based on the total number of days school is actually in session per year. Fees are divided into 9 equal payments for the school year and will not be lower for those months that have fewer attendance days due to holidays (i.e. winter and spring break)

A $15 non-district fee will be charged at the time of registration when applicable.

Our All Day Camps will run from 8 am to 3 pm, giving parents the flexibility to choose between a 3-day program or a week-long adventure for their child. To ensure the best experience, children must be entering the specified grades in Fall 2025. Please note that there will be no camp on July 3rd & 4th. Discovery Camp | Pre-K - 1st Grade

Our campers will be swimming, making amazing art projects on theme-related topics, playing exciting games together as well as enjoying lots of outdoor time. Not to mention the field trips that help make memories last a lifetime! Teen Camp | 6th - 9th Grade

Teen Camp offers even more than just games, and arts & crafts - campers also enjoy team-building activities engaging in service projects, and visits to the local communities. Plus swimming at Seafari Springs Aquatic Center 3 days per week takes it all to next level of excitement! Help make this the best summer yet for your teen by signing them up today.

Sports & Splash Camp | 3rd - 6th Grade

Location: Community Center Gym, 1919 Walnut Ave.

Our campers will be able to explore a new sport each week as they take part in exciting athletic activities with special guest instructors! They'll also cool off at Seafari Spring Aquatic Center, and get ready for the ultimate day of fun when we go on an awesome sports-themed field trip once a week.

New Payment Plan

We are happy to offer our parents the option of a Payment Plan to secure a spot in our Summer Day Camp. Parents will only have to pay a $25 security deposit for each week they wish their child to attend, and pay the remaining balance by the due date listed on the agreement.

Camp Add-ons!

All camps have the option of the 3-day pass or the 5-day pass.

Camp Sunrise and Sunset takes place at the Ahlstrand Fieldhouse.

 

If your child is enrolled in Camp Sunrise, they will be walked over with staff to their campsite once Camp Sunrise is done at 8 am. If your child is enrolled into Camp Sunset they will be walked over at the end of their camp day to Ahlstrand Fieldhouse if needed. In the case of severe weather campers will be shuttled to Ahlstrand Fieldhouse.

Start your day bright and early at Camp Sunrise! Campers will participate in quiet morning activities, and a light breakfast will be served.

General Information:

Camp registration may be done in person or over the phone (Community Center - 1919 Walnut Ave. Hanover Park). At the time of registration, parents will receive the “Summer Day Camp Parent Manual” and the Camp Emergency Form which MUST be turned in to counselors at the campsite.

Preschool Mission Statement:

Hanover Park Park District is dedicated to preparing little sprouts for Kindergarten with care and creativity! We offer a secure and nurturing environment where young learners can grow and thrive. Our programs focus on essential skills like motor development, independence-building, and listening comprehension. Kids will have a blast as they explore numbers and letters while engaging in self-expression activities that nurture their confidence. Through fun adventures in the world of colors and shapes, we help each child blossom into their best self!

 

Enrollment Information

  • Review class information. Decide upon a class that fits your schedule best and your child’s age. (There is limited enrollment in these programs.)

  • Little Learners is for children who are 3 years old as of September 1, 2025.

  • Pre-Kindergarten is for children who are 4 years old as of September 1, 2025.

This program is crafted to give your little sprout a gentle introduction to the preschool world. Our devoted and nurturing staff will help ease your child’s transition from home, providing a warm and supportive environment. Totally 2s & 3s Information:

Parents may stay on the first day of class to help ease their child into separation. This is not a parent/tot program and parents will be asked to stop attending after the first class.

 

Pull-ups are acceptable, but our teachers are not able to change any child. Children should be in the process of learning how to be toilet-independent while attending this program. Parents must be available to return to the program to change their child’s pull-up or in case of a bathroom accident.

Get your little sprout ready for kindergarten with our heartwarming program! Our curriculum introduces young learners to colors, sizes, shapes, numbers, and reading readiness. They’ll also pick up valuable skills like following directions and understanding time, all while blossoming socially and emotionally.

 

Our caring teachers will guide your child through the alphabet, addresses, phone numbers, and even writing their names. This nurturing program is designed for those who will start kindergarten in the fall of 2025, and we’ll celebrate their growth with a special graduation on May 21st, 2026. Breakfast with the Bunny – Lion's Club 

Hop on over to the Hanover Park Park District to join the fun and enjoy breakfast with the Bunny. Practice days and times are determined by the volunteer coach. The games are on Saturday. Players should register based on their grade for the 2024/2025 school year, Shin guards are required. Soccer cleats are recommended. 10-week program. Game Field locations are determined by schedule. The fee is $125 if you are a returning player with a jersey from the last season. The fee is $140 if you are a new player or need a new jersey. 

The practice location will be Lions Park, West or East Harbor. Coaches will pick their teams and practice days. I will send an email to all parents before the 1st day of practice to let you know what day each league will be practicing. (Please make sure the front desk has the correct email address) All coaches will be sending out a Band app request letting you know that your child will be on their team and when your child has practice. Practice usually will be on Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday. The games will be every Saturday.

Are you ready to take your football skills to the next level? The Hanover Park Hurricanes Football Skillz & Drillz Program is designed to help young athletes refine their football fundamentals, improve their teamwork, and have fun while doing it! 

 

Program Overview 

Dates: March 4, 2025 - April 10, 2025 

Duration: 6 Weeks 

Sessions: 2 times per week, 1-hour sessions

Centre Court Athletic Club equips suburban citizens with everything they need to get fit and have fun. In addition to a traditional cardio center and weight room, the club also comes equipped with more than a dozen indoor Tennis and Pickleball courts, which host matches no matter the weather.

Racquetball Courts

The two racquetball courts offer hardwood floors and complete climate control for year-round playing comfort.

 

Tennis Courts

Our 10 indoor tennis courts feature the “Chevron Laykold¨ surface which offers a true bounce and minimum leg fatigue to players of every ability. Four of the indoor courts are air-conditioned for your summertime comfort.

Court Reservations & Cancellations

Members may reserve court time up to seven days in advance. Cancellation of court time must be made at least 24 hours in advance of play. Members are responsible for court fees if for any reason they wish to cancel in less than 24 hours and the court cannot be sold.  Members who make reservations and fail to show up are responsible for the cost of the court and are charged accordingly.

This 2400 sq. ft. center features state-of-the-art resistance & cardiovascular equipment and a fully equipped 600 sq. ft. free weight room. Handicap Accessibility

The Park District and the CCAC are handicapped accessible and comply with A.D.A. standards. The elevator is accessible from all 3 levels and is available for public use.

 

Locker Rooms, Whirlpools & Saunas

Club members will enjoy the clean and spacious men’s & women’s locker rooms, each with its own whirlpool and sauna.

 

Lounge and Snack Bar

The central core of the club includes a lounge area complete with a big screen TV where members and guests may relax after a hard workout.

Monthly Play Pass

If playing a lot of tennis is high on your priority list you can’t go wrong by purchasing a Play Pass. Reservations may be made up to 48 hours in advance, initially for one-and-a-half hours of tennis. If the court is available at the end of that time, just keep playing until you drop!

Non-play pass holders must pay their portion of the court time fees.  A valid CCAC membership is required to purchase a play pass.
