Responsibilities:

Special Event Coordinator
SUMMARY:
The Special Event Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various community events throughout the year. This role is crucial in creating memorable experiences for Hanover Park residents and visitors. This position is scheduled days, evenings and weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent. Must possess the ability to communicate verbally, in writing, and be proficient at basic computer word processing software. Must be at least 19 years of age. Valid Illinois Driver’s License. CPR, AED and First Aid Certification required. Bilingual preferred.
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:
The Special Event Coordinator is under the direct supervision of the Superintendent of Recreation.

Athletic Assistant
SUMMARY:
Responsible for assisting the Athletic Supervisor with on-site support including coordination of programs, leagues, reservations, and working programs/events. This position is primarily scheduled evenings and weekends.

CUSTOMER SERVICE REGISTRATION/RENTAL COORDINATER
Part-Time Position, 19 Hours per Week mostly evening hours
Customer Service Registration/Rental Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and collecting fees for room rentals, processing registration transfers, and ensuring the registration software is regularly updated with accurate data. Additional responsibilities include maintaining records for monthly installment billing, generating reports as needed, and preparing onboarding materials for new staff.
The role also involves supporting the Recreation and Athletic Club departments by handling registration tasks such as enrolling participants in programs, processing memberships and aquatics passes, and scheduling facility use. Additional duties include answering and directing phone calls, making copies using various office machines, managing office records, and filing systems, and organizing storage and supply areas.

Position Overview: The Before and After School Club Site Leader oversees and manages children during the program, ensuring a safe and engaging environment. The role involves supervising activities, supporting students academically, and maintaining clear communication with families.

Soccer Referees Wanted

Soccer and/or Basketball Instructor
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to coach young kids aged 4-10 in soccer and/or basketball. The role involves conducting engaging Saturday classes to teach sports fundamentals in a fun and interactive way. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in sports knowledge, and prior coaching experience would be a definite advantage. Excellent communication skills are a must, both in written and verbal interactions with colleagues and young participants.
